Quick Release Mooring Hooks and Solar systems for Port of Amsterdam

In December 2019 we finished commissioning and did a successful site acceptance test for our Solar Systems and Quick Release Mooring Hooks in the Port of Amsterdam. On 8 monopiles in the Buitenspuikanaal in IJmuiden our solar systems and quick release hooks are now in use to the satisfaction of the port operators.

Dredging Plough - 20 tons of steel

Since decades, we are well known for producing high-quality dredging equipment. Especially fo products such as bow couplings, ball joints and turning glands. With our experience, craftsmanship and dedication to dredging, we have the pleasure to produce custom-made dredging equipment as well. At the moment we are producing a dredging plough with a total length of 14 meters and a weight of 20 tons!

Necessary equipment for tugboats

A tugboat is a type of vessel that can move other ships or boats by pushing or pulling them via towlines. Tugboats are deployed for various purposes, such as maneuvering ships through a harbor, shallow water, rivers, or canal systems. Tugboats can also move barges, oil platforms or drilling rigs.

The advantages of a custom-made capstan

Capstans are used for safe and efficient handling of mooring lines. Freestanding mooring capstans are used to pull the mooring line, from the vessel to the dolphin. In these cases, they are combined with bollards or basic quick release hooks. Our standard capstans are driven by high-quality electrical motors.

Bow Coupling Installation for Split Hopper Dredger

Within a challenging time frame we completed the production of a complete bow coupling installation consisting of guide ring construction, integrated female part and male part. This bow coupling installation will be used on a split hopper dredger and has an inside diameter of 500 mm.

Alfa Terminal - Poland ready to be commissioned

After the summer of 2019 we have successfully completed and transported an order for quick release mooring hooks and a berthing aid system. Meanwhile our products have been installed by  contractor F+Z Baugesellschaft on the Alfa Terminal in Szczecin - Poland. Our engineers will execute the commissioning and site acceptance tests of this project soon.

Completion of Dredging Ball Joint

This week we successfully completed the production, assembly, and test of a quick release ball joint with an inner diameter of 700 mm. This specific type of ball joint, also known as pinch ball joint, will be used on a cutter suction dredger.
