For one of our dredging customers, we are currently producing a draghead, knife type with movable vizor, adjustable water-inlet over the knives, jet nozzles and turtle deflector. Although we have been making products for the dredging industry since 1965, this is our first draghead with a turtle deflector.
Last week we successfully tested and transported by air three super strong 11kW Safe area free standing capstans, that will be installed at the Marine Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore. This special design was requested to unify with the existing capstans on the berth.Read more
Along the quay of the Hutchison Ports ECT Delta terminal on the Maasvlakte, the Port of Rotterdam Authority has installed a smart bollard as part of a trial. The smart bollard was developed in collaboration with Straatman BV. By measuring the strain on the mooring lines in real time, the bollard not only allows the real-time monitoring of safety, but it also provides a clearer picture of which vessels can moor at which quays.Read more

Capstans are used for safe and efficient handling of mooring lines. Freestanding mooring capstans are used to pull the mooring line, from the vessel to the dolphin. After the summer of 2019 we have successfully completed and transported an order for quick release mooring hooks and a berthing aid system. Meanwhile our products have been installed by contractor F+Z Baugesellschaft on the Alfa Terminal in Szczecin - Poland.
