Off to Denmark – Another mooring system on the move!

This week, another carefully engineered mooring system has left our factory in Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands, and is now on its way to Denmark. We are proud to share a glimpse of this exciting project, developed in close cooperation with our partner MSB Industries.

The shipment includes six double 75-ton Quick Release Mooring Hooks, each equipped with capstans (IP66-rated) for reliable performance in demanding maritime conditions. In addition, the system features load monitoring and remote release functionality, offering enhanced safety and efficiency during mooring operations.

But that is not all: This project also includes a Berthing Aid System, designed to support precise vessel approach and docking. The package is completed with a PC running our MoorControl software, providing operators with a clear and complete overview of the entire mooring process. From real-time data to safety-critical controls, MoorControl helps optimize operations and ensure everything runs smoothly from ship to shore.

Everything in this project—from design and engineering to production and final testing—was handled in-house by our dedicated Straatman team. We are proud to offer full control over the entire process, ensuring the highest quality and performance.
