The Straatman Mooring Load Monitoring System (MLMS) is an advanced system crafted for the ongoing measurement of load on quick release hooks. These hooks are equipped with a dedicated load cell that precisely gauges the mooring loads on each individual hook.
Our software platform amalgamates visualization of mooring loads, past data, and alarms specified by the client. Once a vessel is securely anchored to the dolphin, the genuine load value of every load cell is swiftly relayed to the monitoring software. This electronic dashboard offers a transparent view of the load on each line. If the loads exceed the preset maximum thresholds, alerts will be promptly relayed to the operators, assuring timely response.
The mooring loads and alarms can be viewed and recorded in various ways:
- On-hook direct display(s).
- A top-quality TFT colour monitor located in the control room.
- Displays incorporated into a custom control panel, adaptable to remote control functionalities.
Integration with a berthing aid system
