Straatman Secures Contract for Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 Project
We are proud to announce that Straatman has secured a significant order for the Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 project in Northern Chile. Last week, we signed a contract to supply a range of advanced mooring systems for this copper mine, including Quick Release Mooring Hooks, Load Monitoring, and Solar and 4G Telemetry systems.
These robust and innovative systems will be installed on buoys designed to ensure the safe mooring of vessels operating at the mine. In line with the stringent safety requirements of the mining industry, the entire system will be explosion-proof, offering enhanced safety and reliability in challenging environments.
We are committed to delivering this project on time, with the complete system scheduled for delivery in Q1 2022. This contract further strengthens our position as a trusted provider of innovative and secure mooring solutions for the global mining industry.
