Quick Release Mooring Hooks for Malaysia

At the end of last year, one of our regular overseas customers requested an urgent quotation for a great project located in Johor, Malaysia. The specifications, issued by two independent consultants, had conflicting requirements which we had to list and highlight in our proposal.  

After a few modifications, we agreed on a final configuration. The total project consists of several manual operated Quick Release Hooks of various capacities. The Quick Release Hooks are complete with single direction, back stop protected heavy duty capstan assemblies. Moreover each hook has a Load Measuring Cell included. At Straatman we are flexible, so the customer decided to add Load Monitoring Instrumentation hardware and necessary application software at a later stage. 

Earlier this week, we successfully completed our Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), which was remotely witnessed by our client via video conference. The equipment left our factory yesterday and is scheduled to be shipped for arrival at Port Kelang mid-November.
