Strainstall Inspection & System Upgrade

Straatman Mooring Systems recently completed an extensive site inspection and upgrade at a terminal in Spain. The terminal's mooring and berthing system, originally supplied by Strainstall in 2006, included a series of Quick Release Mooring Hooks that have supported safe and efficient mooring operations for almost two decades.

Since 2021, Straatman has taken over all activities related to Quick Release Mooring Hooks from Strainstall and AMTS. This transition has allowed Straatman to combine Strainstall’s solid foundation and proven technology with Straatman’s in-house expertise and commitment to continuous improvement.

During this recent project, Straatman’s engineers conducted a detailed inspection to evaluate the performance of the existing Quick Release Mooring Hooks and related computer systems. By upgrading these systems, the terminal can continue to rely on safe, reliable, and efficient mooring operations for years to come.
