Fast Delivery of Mooring Hooks for Buoy Project in Egypt
1 December 2024
Straatman successfully completed another fast-track mooring project within just 10 weeks. Despite the tight schedule, the team delivered six double 100-ton Quick Release Mooring Hooks on time. These hooks will be installed on mooring buoys manufactured by Resinex. The final destination of the project is Egypt, where the system will support offshore mooring operations.
Built for demanding marine conditions
Each Quick Release Mooring Hook is designed for safe and reliable performance in harsh environments. The units are equipped with an integrated remote release system, allowing operators to release mooring lines from a safe distance. In addition, every hook includes an IP67-rated control box. This ensures strong protection against water and environmental exposure. As a result, the system remains reliable under demanding offshore conditions.
Delivering under pressure
The project required strict planning and execution. The delivery deadline left no room for delays. Therefore, our team worked with full focus to meet the client’s expectations. Throughout production, we maintained high quality standards and strict testing procedures. Every unit was checked to ensure performance, safety, and durability.
Strong cooperation with the client
Close coordination with Resinex was essential during this project. Clear communication helped align production, delivery, and integration with the buoy system. This collaboration ensured that the equipment fit seamlessly into the final installation.
Reliable solutions, even on tight deadlines
This project highlights Straatman’s ability to deliver customised mooring solutions under pressure. Even with challenging timelines, we maintain our focus on quality and reliability. We continue to support offshore and marine projects worldwide with robust, safe, and high-performance mooring systems.
