Straatman Secures Major Project at Equinor Kårstø Terminal in Norway
Straatman is proud to announce the acceptance of a significant order for a project at the Equinor Kårstø terminal in Norway.
The Kårstø processing plant, located north of Stavanger, is the largest facility in Europe. This plant is integral to the transportation and processing of gas and condensate from major sites across the northern regions of the North Sea.
Straatman will replace all quick release mooring hook units with new models to enhance safety and efficiency in berthing operations. These new units will adhere to the latest technological and quality standards, featuring explosion-proof Mooring Load Monitoring, integrated capstans, and electric release capabilities for remote control.
This upgrade underscores Straatman's commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that ensure safe and reliable operations. With this project, Straatman continues to strengthen its presence in the oil and gas industry, providing innovative products designed to meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
