We are proud to announce the successful commissioning of the complete mooring system for Germany’s first FSRU-based LNG terminal, located in Wilhelmshaven along the North Sea coast. This terminal will play a crucial role in facilitating LNG imports into the European market.

Advanced Mooring Solutions for LNG Wilhelmshaven

Last week, we completed the installation and commissioning of our state-of-the-art mooring equipment at the terminal. This includes 150T triple and quadruple Quick Release Mooring Hooks with integrated capstans, a Berthing Aid System, an Environmental Monitoring System, and a Central Monitoring System. All of these components are controlled via our advanced MoorControl software.

Ready for Operations

By mid-December, the first Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) can be docked at the terminal. Our mooring equipment ensures the safe and efficient mooring of the FSRU, meeting the highest standards of safety and reliability. The integration of these advanced systems is designed to enhance operational efficiency and environmental monitoring, providing a robust solution for this critical infrastructure.
