BAS project including EMS for Pertamina Balikpapan
Recently, we finished a Berthing Aid System (BAS) project including Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) for our customer Pertamina EP for their refinery in Balikpapan, which is located on the Indonesian part of Borneo, Kalimantan. This project included handheld systems and software integration of all products to the client’s systems.
The Straatman Berthing Aid System (BAS) helps reduce risks at berth as it provides real-time information for safe navigation during berthing. When the Berthing Aid System is extended with an Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) the risks are even reduced further as pilots and operators will have a full scope of data available to base their decisions on.
