High Activity in the Dredging Market

This increased activity is clearly visible in our factory. At the moment, Straatman is working on multiple projects for leading dredging contractors.

Ongoing projects for global clients

Over the past weeks, our team has been involved in a wide range of projects. These projects cover both new equipment and service work. For example:

• For Van Oord, we are manufacturing two female parts for Ø1000 bow couplings
• For Boskalis, we produced a service frame for a Ø1000 bow coupling
• For DEME, we inspected and repaired a Ø900 bow coupling, including new parts such as the inner ball and nose rings

In addition, we are working on a complete Ø762 bow coupling installation for a returning client in the United States. This system includes both a fixed female part and a separate male part. At the same time, we manufactured a male and female part for a Ø700 pinch ball joint for Damen. Finally, we recently completed the last two units of a bow discharge installation project.
