High-Quality Aluminum Powder Coating

At Straatman Dredging & Construction, we apply powder coating to aluminum components on a daily basis. We support a wide range of clients with durable and high-quality finishing solutions. Recently, a customer approached us with a specific request. They needed aluminum chimney caps coated for outdoor use. Since these components are exposed to harsh weather conditions, the coating system had to meet high durability and quality standards. Therefore, we applied a special multi-layer powder coating system. This system provides extra protection against environmental impact and ensures long-term performance.

Outdoor aluminum components require coatings that can withstand UV exposure, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. For this reason, Straatman carefully selects the right coating system for each application. In this project, we used polyester-based powder coatings, specifically developed for outdoor use. These coatings offer excellent resistance against weathering and mechanical wear. In addition, all powders used are TGIC-free and lead-free, ensuring compliance with modern environmental and safety standards.
