Custom-made quick-release ball joint for mining vessel

Last week marked an exciting milestone as we shipped a custom-made Quick-Release Ball Joint to our valued client, Damen Services. This specialized equipment is heading to a mining vessel operating off the coast of South Africa, where it will play a vital role in deep-sea diamond mining for one of the world’s largest diamond traders.

Our Straatman Dredging and Construction team oversaw every step of the project, from concept to completion, at our factory. The shipment included the ball joint, along with various wear and spare parts, ensuring smooth and long-lasting operations in the demanding marine environment.
