advanced winch technology for Tunisia’s tug fleet

Our Kraaijeveld service engineers recently travelled to Turkey to attend bollard pull tests and sea trials. They also carried out the commissioning of several winches on board new MED-A2800 tugs, expertly built by Med Marine. They also provided training sessions for the local crews in Tunisia to ensure safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
These state-of-the-art tugs are constructed for Tunisia’s renowned port authority OMMP. They are each equipped with complete (anchor) towing winches, including all hydraulic and electrical control components. All designed, manufactured, and delivered by Kraaijeveld.
