System integration challenge succesfully completed
For one of our customers in the oil market we have completely designed, engineered and manufactured a solar telemetry system for their thirteen mooring buoys. Each buoy will have one solar power system and two quick release mooring hooks.
Each telemetry, remote release, bird dispersal and load monitoring system is powered by an autonomous solar system which guarantees enough power for at least 15 days without charging.
The connection between the offshore buoys and the control room onshore is through a wireless UHF communication system and has a range of 5km. The hooks can not only be released onshore via the PC in the control room but also via a tablet offshore. Besides, the pilot or mooring master will have access to all the data of the systems on the buoy on the tablet.
