Winches Delivered for EasyMax VI Vessel

Kraaijeveld recently manufactured and delivered five winches for the newbuild EasyMax VI. The vessel is being built for our long-term customer Royal Niestern Sander. This project continues a strong partnership. Previously, we also supplied the winches for earlier vessels in the EasyMax series.
Complete scope for mooring operations
The scope of supply includes both mooring winches and anchor mooring winches. These systems support safe and efficient vessel operations under various conditions. Each winch is designed to meet the operational requirements of modern cargo vessels. As a result, they ensure reliable performance during daily operations.
Supporting a new generation of vessels
The EasyMax series represents a new generation of fuel-efficient general cargo ships. These vessels are designed to transport a wide range of dry goods while reducing emissions. Therefore, reliable and efficient onboard systems are essential. The winches play a key role in supporting safe port operations. The sixth EasyMax vessel is scheduled for delivery in summer 2026.
Commissioning in the Netherlands
Recently, our service team completed the commissioning of the anchor mooring winches on-site in Delfzijl, the Netherlands. The mooring winches will be commissioned shortly, ensuring the vessel is fully operational.
