Reflecting on a Year of LNG Projects and Growth

As the end of the year approaches, it is a natural moment to reflect. This year has been both intensive and rewarding for Straatman. Not only did we grow as a company, but we also strengthened our position in the global LNG market. LNG continues to play a key role in the energy transition. Therefore, we are proud to contribute to projects that support reliable and more sustainable energy supply worldwide.

Major LNG projects around the world

Throughout the year, we successfully delivered mooring systems for several large-scale LNG terminals across the globe. Each project required precision, speed, and close cooperation with our partners. Among others, we contributed to:

• Fortum’s Inkoo Port in Finland
• Paldiski LNG Terminal in Estonia
• Three LNG terminals in Germany: Mukran, Wilhelmshaven and Stade
• Santos LNG Terminal in Brazil
• ST Croix LNG Terminal in the Caribbean

In each of these projects, we ensured safe and efficient mooring operations under demanding conditions.

Complete mooring solutions delivered

To support these terminals, we manufactured and delivered a wide range of systems. These included:

• Quick Release Mooring Hooks with capstans
• Berthing Aid Systems (BAS)
• Mooring Load Monitoring Systems (MLMS)
• Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS)
• SafeCom Ship-to-Shore Link (SSL) systems

By integrating these technologies, we enabled operators to maintain full control, high safety standards, and operational efficiency.
