The terminal is located in Lahepere Bay and is now fully operational. This LNG project followed an extremely tight timeline. The terminal had to be completed and operational within just six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delivered ahead of schedule<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the challenging schedule, Straatman delivered and <a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">commissioned the full mooring system<\/a> ahead of planning. This result was achieved through strong teamwork and close coordination within the project team. Fast execution without compromising quality was essential for this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reliable mooring for FSRU operations<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Straatman supplied and installed 150-ton triple <a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/quick-release-mooring-hook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Quick Release Mooring Hooks<\/a>. These hooks secure the FSRU safely during operations. Each hook is equipped with a <a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/mooring-load-monitoring-system-mlms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mooring Load Monitoring System<\/a>. This system provides continuous, real-time insight into mooring line forces. Operators can monitor loads and respond quickly to changing conditions. This improves both safety and operational control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Central monitoring and control<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All mooring hooks are connected to a central Control and Monitoring System. The system includes an integrated PC running Straatman\u2019s MoorControl software. The software provides a clear overview of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mooring loads<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alarm notifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Operators can monitor the entire mooring system from a single interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supporting fast-track LNG infrastructure<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Paldiski LNG terminal plays an important role in strengthening energy supply in the Baltic region. With this project, Straatman demonstrates its ability to deliver complete mooring systems under tight deadlines, without compromising on safety or performance.
