The terminal is located in Santos, S\u00e3o Paulo, one of Brazil\u2019s most important port regions. The terminal is designed to accommodate the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) <em>H\u00f6egh Giant<\/em>. Reliable mooring infrastructure is essential to ensure safe and continuous LNG operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Complete mooring system for FSRU operations<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Straatman was responsible for the design, engineering, and manufacturing of the complete mooring system for this project. The system supports safe and efficient mooring of the FSRU at the terminal. The scope of supply included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Double and quadruple <a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/quick-release-mooring-hook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Quick Release Mooring Hooks<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/mooring-load-monitoring-system-mlms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mooring Load Monitoring Systems<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remote release systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Central Monitoring System<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry-on-Board system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/ship-to-shore-link-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ship-to-Shore Link (SSL) system<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These systems work together to provide operators with full control and real-time insight into mooring operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On-site commissioning and training<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Straatman engineers travelled to Brazil to carry out the <a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/service-support\/commissioning-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on-site commissioning<\/a> of the complete system. During this phase, all systems were tested and validated under operational conditions. In addition, the team provided training to local operators. This ensures that the system is used safely and efficiently during daily operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strong collaboration on site<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The commissioning process ran smoothly thanks to the close cooperation between all project partners. Straatman would like to thank the team at Concremat Engenharia e Tecnologia for their strong support and expertise on-site. We also thank the ShibataFenderTeam for the excellent teamwork during this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supporting LNG infrastructure worldwide<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>With this project, Straatman contributes to the development of safe and efficient LNG infrastructure in South America. The TRSP terminal will play an important role in strengthening Brazil\u2019s energy supply.
