Recently, Straatman has successfully supplied two similar projects, and therefore, it was a logical choice for Crowley to award this project to Straatman as well.<br><br>Straatman will manufacture all mooring equipment to be installed on the barges, which is used to transfer the wind turbines to the offshore wind farm of \u00d8rsted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our mooring equipment will facilitate the safe and efficient mooring of the Service Operation Vessel to the offshore Installation vessel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our scope of supply includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Multiple 150T and 100T\u00a0double\u00a0q<a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/quick-release-mooring-hook\/\">uick release mooring hooks<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrated\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/captans\/\">capstan<\/a>\u00a0and remote release system\u00a0for each hook<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 x\u00a0Carry on Board systems\u00a0with our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/straatmanmooringsystems.com\/mooring-systems\/moorcontrol\/\">MoorControl\u00a0<\/a>software\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MoorControl provides&nbsp;live load monitoring data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remote hook release\u00a0capability from a safe distance via a laptop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are proud to be involved in this important and sustainable project and look forward to working with Crowley to deliver a successful outcome.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Straatman has been awarded a contract to supply mooring equipment\u00a0on barges\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0USA Offshore windfarm project<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":830,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-829","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-corporate-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
